Challenges & Problem Statement
- Breadth & Scale: WILP is a flagship program of BITS-Pilani and covers more than 80+ different technologies and has 200+ tracks, the lab solution should cater to all these technologies and tracks.
- Lab Setup & Configuration: Admins or trainers should not spend any time on lab setup, course mapping and configuration.
- Lab Management: Effortless lab management for the 25000 students. The solution must scale seamlessly with the number of students.
- Seamless Access: Students are spread all around the world. The lab access should be seamless irrespective of student location without any additional installations in student laptops.
- User Access Control & Security: Ensuring secure user access control and preventing any resource misuse.
- Zero capex: BITS Pilani wanted a zero capex model. No investment in an on-premise data center or requirement of any upgrade of hardware for the students.
