Autonomous alert triage, cross-product investigation and remediation recommendations
Trellix
Launched Wise with customer operational use reported; individual deployed customers and cohort size are unnamed.
A published third-party example, not a Nuvepro customer case or evidence of a partnership.
What the source reports
Wise investigates alerts using security context and generates recommendations for analysts. Operational customer use is reported without identifying the deployment cohort. The separate Sidekick coding product is outside this workflow. Avoided analyst effort is an estimate, not a direct correctness measurement.
Reported technology: Anthropic Claude through Amazon Bedrock. Scope and outcomes are source-reported.
What the enterprise environment would need
The following is a proposed project design for an enterprise doing similar work. Published details are marked; the remaining systems, data and scenarios would be agreed for your project.
- Systems and tools
- Published: Wise and security product integrations. Proposed: reuse security test tools and controlled event feeds.
- Data and state
- Proposed: correlated telemetry, identities and threat histories; preserve cross-source timestamps and access controls.
- People and handoffs
- Proposed: analyst accepts or challenges investigation; incident commander authorizes consequential response.
- Rules and authority
- Proposed: codify objectives and response constraints, not a single mandatory investigation path.
- Normal and exception cases
- Proposed: benign correlated activity, genuine attacks, missing logs and ambiguous signals.
- Reset and replay
- Proposed: immutable event bundles plus controlled attack replay. Not published in this case.
A proposed simulation
An illustrative practice design derived from this work, not an executed assessment.
Investigate matched malicious and benign alert chains, including missing logs, and deliver evidence and a proposed response to an analyst.
Review gate: Evaluate missed threats, false alarms, evidence support, uncertainty and response authority separately; success is not just a persuasive summary.
Challenge the result: Include benign activity that resembles an attack and a real attack with sparse evidence. A test set that rewards alarm volume rather than discrimination is misleading.
What needs checking
- Published: general model evaluation is described, without an independent detection benchmark.
- Proposed: precision, false-negative analysis, evidence support and response-authorization checks.
- Proposed: SOC experts validate event chronology, asset context and escalation constraints using known incidents.
Review environment fidelity, human capability and agent performance separately. The enterprise’s accountable owners decide acceptance of the shared workflow and any operating use.
Shape this around your enterprise
Bring a similar workflow and the people responsible for it. Together, define the records and systems to use, the result your team will build or configure, and how its owners will check it. Nuvepro scopes the simulation, environment and preparation. Agree any existing-agent evaluation, implementation assistance and production responsibilities separately.
